I used to think writing wasn't for me because I was never very good at it in university.

I hated writing scientific papers because everything felt unnecessarily complicated.

But when I started writing online, I discovered something:

You need good ideas and the ability to communicate them in a way that captures and keeps people's attention.

Once I understood that, everything changed.

I went from struggling to grow my audience to generating more than 150 million views and building an audience of 100,000+ people across social media.

But it took years of trial and error to figure out what actually worked.

Over the last 3+ years, I've written more than 10,000 short-form posts and 500+ threads and long-form posts, while spending more than $30,000 on courses and mentors.

Hey, I'm Stijn.

It's pronounced like Einstein minus Ein.

Sadly, you also lose 50 IQ points when you remove 'Ein'.

If only my parents would've known...

But despite that, I managed to become a full-time creator.

Just by writing tweets.

But it took me a while to get there.

On my Twitter profile you can see that I joined July 2021.

But the first year or so, I procrastinated.

The second year, I started posting.

I posted 3-5 times per day.

But after months of doing this, I only gained 183 followers.

This was incredibly frustrating.

What made it worse is that creators with similar content were growing much faster.

I didn't understand it.

I thought the algorithm just hated me.

And I was busy with the last months of my criminology studies.

So I quit Twitter.

Six months later, I graduated.

That's when it hit me hard: I absolutely didn't want a job.

I wanted freedom and control over my work, and a 9-5 would never give me that.

I had saved up money from side jobs in university.

This gave me a year to figure it out.

If I didn't, I had to get a job.

That’s when I logged back into Twitter.

I saw that some people were still growing extremely fast.

Some even hit $10K/mo in just 6 months.

This convinced me that it was possible for me too.

So I decided to give it another shot.

But this time, I would change my approach.

I restarted on July 3th 2023 with 281 followers:

In the next 2.5 years, I spent thousands of hours and $28,000 to figure it out.

I invested in courses and mentorships from the biggest creators in the world:

Dan Koe, Justin Welsh, Ed Lawrence, Hamza Ahmed, Chin Gregory, Ship 30, Kieran Drew, and many others...

But all of the courses had one thing in common:

Something was missing.

Don't get me wrong, I learned valuable information from all of these people.

But I still had the same problems and I didn't get great results.

Even though I implemented everything they taught me.

It always felt like there was something that they didn't tell me.

This was incredibly frustrating.

So I started figuring it out for myself.

I wrote 59,500 tweets and 500+ threads and long-form posts.

I also launched 24 products and lead magnets.

Then I analyzed everything.

I looked at what got the most followers, email subscribers, and sales.

And I discovered that 90% of what I was doing wasn't working.

But 10% worked very well.

So I simply quit doing what didn't work and I doubled down on what worked well.

I was basically applying the scientific method:

Research. Hypothesis. Experiment. Analyze. Iterate. Repeat.

I did this every single week for 2.5 years.

The result is a simple, repeatable system that helps creators grow fast on Twitter.

It cost me thousands of hours to create, but right now, it’s almost entirely automated and takes less than 1 hour a day to implement.

This system helped me gain 58,100 followers and 102M views in a year.

In my best month, it helped me to gain 11,600 followers and 24.2M organic views (no ads):

99 posts with +100K views

And hundreds of posts with 10K-100K views. All organic.

I'm by no means the richest creator, but I hit my first $15K month 13 months after restarting.

My simple system allowed me to become a full-time creator with full control over my time, work, and location.

And since X introduced the creator payouts, my tweets alone pay for my groceries:
