How To Turn Ideas Into Income

I became a full-time X Creator in 4 months.

Unlike most people I started creating courses quite early.

I sold my first one around 1000 followers and it only made me $95 in 2 months.

This was because I hadn’t yet learned the skills needed to make it work.

In my 4th month on X I launched my first official course.

I hate self-promotion so I did a soft launch (I only mentioned the link in newsletters and below long-forms).

The results?

I made almost $1,5k with it in about a month.

It’s not a life-changing amount of money, but it still allowed me to become a full-time creator (in combination with the money I make from consulting).

Until recently, this course didn’t exist.

I created it by taking ideas inside of my head and turning them into a video course.

I literally made money with the ideas that were inside of my mind.

The cool thing about this is that you can sell it unlimited times once you’ve created it.

You take ideas from your mind and turn them into a product that you can sell on scale.

Forever.

I call this productizing your mind.

Imagine how powerful this becomes as your audience grows.

Productize Your Mind (5 Steps)

1. Pick one problem

Pick one transformation.

It doesn’t need to be one topic but it needs to be specific.‍

Target one specific person who wants to make one specific transformation.

Any topic he needs to make this transformation is relevant.

It’s not so much about the topic but it’s about how the topic helps them make the transformation.

If Elon Musk tells me that a seemingly weird topic helps me be a great entrepreneur - then I’ll listen.‍

It’s not about the topics.‍

It’s about your ability to make a persuasive argument about why the topic will help them reach their goal.

So pick 1 transformation and select the relevant topics.

2. Become Your Own Case Study

My recent growth has been great.

1200 followers in the last 14 days.‍

I don’t think there are a lot of small creators on X with a higher profile conversion rate.

‍

Most people comment hundreds of times per day to get my growth.

I currently only leave 20-30 comments per day.

You can only get a high conversion rate with depth behind your content.

‍I’ve screwed up a lot and that’s why the lessons I’ve learned create depth behind my writing.

3. Do Free Work

I did over 20 free coaching calls.

This allowed me to do a few things:‍

• Collect testimonials
• Identify common pain points
• Give free value to my audience

I recommend anyone to do free 30-min coaching calls.

• You stack testimonials
• You get used to doing calls
• You start to understand your audience

Having a wall of testimonials is massive social proof.

All people I did coaching calls with were also extremely grateful.

It’s like networking with additional benefits for each side.

Massive win-win.

4. Modularize Problems

You now know:

• People’s biggest pain points
• Your former biggest pain points
• How you solved your biggest pain points

‍So now it’s time to help them to modularize these problems.

Turn the biggest pain points into modules.

For me these were:‍

• Branding
• X growth
• Engagement
• Writing tweets
• Building products
• Long-form writing‍

So these are the main modules of my course.

5. Productize Your Mind

So now you know the modules.‍

And you have all the knowledge inside of your head.

Now it’s time to put it into the course.‍

Create relevant lessons inside each module.

Add videos and relevant text.

This makes it easier for people to focus and learn.

Make sure you massively overdeliver.

I try to give as much value as possible to overdeliver.
